Norey’s has had Sierra Nevada’s big Imperial IPA on tap all summer but now we’re offering it in a whole new way.
Hoptimum is one of the biggest IPAs on the market today. 100 IBUs. 10.4% ABV. Here’s how Sierra Nevada describes it:
A group of hop-heads and publicans challenged our Beer Camp brewers to push the extremes of whole-cone hop brewing. The result is this: a 100 IBU, whole-cone hurricane of flavor. Simply put —Hoptimum: the biggest whole-cone IPA we have ever produced. Aggressively hopped, dry-hopped, AND torpedoed with our exclusive new hop varieties for ultra-intense flavors and aromas.
Resinous “new-school” and exclusive hop varieties carry the bold and aromatic nose. The flavor follows the aroma with layers of aggressive hoppiness, featuring notes of grapefruit rind, rose, lilac, cedar, and tropical fruit—all culminating in a dry and lasting finish.
Norey’s regulars know Hoptimum pretty well. It’s our staple double IPA every summer. But now we have something different. Hoptimum on cask.
The cask brings this beer closer to its original form. It’s much less carbonated, so the flavor just flows out.
Like we said, this is the last of the Hoptimum for this year and this is probably the only cask of this beer in New England so you really won’t want to miss out.
